University United Student Ministries (6th – 12th grade)

University United Student Ministries (UUSM) exists to serve teens in middle and high school in the exploration of faith in Jesus Christ. Make friends, explore your relationship with Jesus, serve the community, and be an active and vital part of our church with our youth group! We meet weekly (on midweek lunches during the summer, and Sunday nights at 5 during the school year). Once a month we hit the road for Sunday FunDay. Recent outings include Six Flags, ice skating, whirlyball, guy’s and girl’s all-nighters, and much more. Each year, we head out on a service-focused mission trip to serve and share our faith in tangible, powerful ways. Our hope is to bless those we meet as well as the students serving. In 2020, our youth group worked with Casas por Cristo in Acuña, Mexico, to build a house for a family in need. And in 2019, UUSM served with an inner city ministry in San Antonio repairing a home with Blueprint Ministries!

Faith Exploration

Sunday school is another opportunity for students to share in life and how to live faithfully. Students meet at 10:20 on Sunday mornings in the UUSM wing upstairs, which is a relaxed, fun place for students to hang out and play ping pong, foosball, pool, and Xbox on a ridiculously large television.
